Compensation: $30 per hour Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Immediate Need) Administrative Assistant Pay Range: $30.00 Admin. Assistant Schedule: Hybrid 6:30AM - 3:30PM M-F probably 3 days on site - days tbd. Admin. Assistant Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 12 month contract opportunity supporting our client, a leading life sciences and clinical diagnostics organization in Orange County, CA! The Administrative Assistant will be responsible to maintain and update the Laboratory and Hospital vendor databases to support our Outside Testing program. The Administrative Assistant will partner with and support internal customers in the Value Assignment, Commodity Management, and Supplier Quality teams by generating and maintaining master data records for our suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance and will support new and existing Laboratories/ Hospitals to ensure their satisfaction and continued participation in the program. The Administrative Assistant responsibilities:

  • High school degree or equivalent plus vocational training desirable.
  • ?4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced PC skills.
  • High sensitivity, confidentiality, diplomacy and tact in dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Strong communication, reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to keep track of and follow up with tasks in various stages of completion.
  • Experience with medical device testing, instrumentation and/or methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP and enterprise software is a plus.
  • Critical thinking skills and initiative
  • IVD /healthcare background - clinical / medical knowledge are preferred.
